Chris Bolesta
Bearded since: 2003. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

Comments:
I decided to finally start growing my beard out after coming to the conclusion that a beard is the most wondrous thing a man can possess. I grew up around beards, always with the hopes that one day I may be able to have one. I began growing facial hair when I was in middle school, and throughout high school I made the mistake of continuously shaving my beard to very short lengths for girlfriends. Now, in my adult years (and after having a few cooking jobs that required me to keep my beard trimmed to within an inch's length), I have realized the importance of growing a beard, both for myself and for the encouragement of other beard-wearers worldwide.

How do I feel about my beard? I realize that right now it is a miniscule sight to behold in comparison to some of the other impressive beards out there, but I am comfortable with it. I love my beard, and I hope that one day I can possibly go on to win competitions with my facial hair. My beard is my most prized possession, and nothing will keep me from allowing my beard to grow to its full potential.
