Why did I grow my beard? I was laid off of my job of six years at a call center, where I was a supervisor. I decided to go back to school and grow the beard. Since then, I am still in school and now work at a tattoo shop where my beard is not only accepted but we go to beard competitions as a shop.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it. Sometimes I wish I could manage it better and make it more shapely, more how I would like. But I am quite fond of my beard and anticipating it getting longer.
