I have always wanted to grow a beard. I tried once two years ago and shaved after twenty-eight days. It didn't look great, and of course, got no support about growing it in the first place! Some of my best friends could or do wear beards, and I found myself jealous of their ability.

How do I feel about my beard? My beard is on the thinner side. So I thought I would never be able to grow a "real" beard. As a self-employed broker, and since I had extra vacation time, I figured I could muster through the awkward first six weeks without seeing too many of my big clients. I had to be patient, but it has been fun. Looking at my pics and in the mirror, I love having my beard. Not sure I will be a year round wearer, but definitely could see myself going seasonal!
