Bearded since: 2012. I am an occasional or seasonal beard grower.

I compete in powerlifting and needed to increase my strength. So my beard was born. I am also growing my hair and beard for world's greatest shave for a cure which is a foundation for raising awareness and money for leukemia.

Hoping to keep growing it until March 2014 and shave it all off for this foundation. The fundraiser is predominately for shaving your hair off but I wanted to grow the beard as well to help raise more money.

How do I feel about my beard? It's a conversation starter and has a mind and stomach of its own.
