Why did I grow my beard? When my grandfather passed away I saw a newspaper article saying he won best beard competition in 1969 for centennial days. So I thought I wanted to grow a beard for grandpa. And with Movember approaching, I figured why not? Everyone else tries to grow a mustache. Long story short: I started my beard in November 2012 and still have it!
I love my beard.

How do I feel about my beard? It's great. I get at least one compliment a day. It's big, thick, and red!
