I grew my beard because it hides some chin scars and I hate to shave. I REALLY like not shaving. I find it liberating.

How do I feel about my beard? It's a mechanism to weed out the @#%!@ in life. Anyone that would judge by appearance has no place in my life. I see it as a serious character flaw that borders racism / discrimination. They show themselves to me and I'll let them know this viewpoint if they ask. I guess it's my middle-aged rebellion.
