Why did I grow my beard? Didn't like the way my chin looked. Grew my beard when I went off to college.

How do I feel about my beard? Like it just fine. Have had it for thirty-four years and don't plan on ever getting rid of it. I let it get long for about a year and a half. Recently trimmed it back to a length I like better.
