At first I grew the beard to distance myself from how I looked when I was in the Army. But once it got going, I realized that it completed my face. It honestly just fit.

How do I feel about my beard? My beard is as much a part of me as any other part of my face. It's something that has been a part of me since before most of my kids were even born.
