Why did I grow my beard? I tried once for five months and it was really nice not having to shave. So I tried again, now sitting at almost seven months and goin for a yeard!

How do I feel about my beard? I feel that it is thin and hard to manage. At this point it's more to take care of than shaving but the compliments keep me happy enough to not shave, other than trim my mustache. I do hate all the hair I lose everyday when brushing to keep it straight, which is why I think it's thinned out.
