I grew my beard because I have always liked facial hair. I started growing facial hair when I was about eighteen and then tried (and liked) a beard at the age of nineteen. Of course back then when I had hair, it was medium brown with a black beard. Today all that is left of color are the remnants of black shading on the lower part of the beard.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it. It keeps me warm in the wintertime and looks awesome. Come early spring, I crop my beard to a wing-back. In summer, I usually end up with a Fu Manchu mustache.
