I am twenty-two. I tried going without shaving for several days at at time during my very early twenties and did not like the appearance of the facial hair. It looked patchy. This time, however, I really made the commitment and it seems to be improving. This is after six weeks of growth and having it trimmed close by the barber three weeks ago. I am just giving it a try since this is my first beard.

How do I feel about my beard? It's really starting to grow on me, literally and figuratively. It seems to really define my laid-back nature.
