I grew my beard because I can. I grew my first beard in 2007 and I was initially inspired by a photo of my Dad. I'm a musician and I was inspired by other musicians with beards, such as Sam Beam of Iron & Wine, members of Bon Iver, and Band of Horses, etc.

I love having a beard and I don't plan on ever being without one.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard and I hope to keep it growing.

On occasion I get a few Jesus or Charles Manson remarks, but it's nothing that phases me. It all goes hand in hand when having a full beard and long hair.
