Bearded since: 2008. I am an experimental beard grower.

I didn't think I could grow a beard that wasn't completely patchy and terrible, so I grew a mustache. After a month or so, my lady friend said, "Hey do you want to shave that mustache please?" I replied, "No, this mustache rules." She then said, "Well then, grow a full beard." I said, "I would, but i think it would look awful. But I'll see what I can do..." Two months later, I had a decent beard.

How do I feel about my beard? For a first beard and only being nineteen, I think it's all right, a bit patchy though.
