I grew my beard because I've always thought civil war soldiers were the coolest looking people I've ever seen.

How do I feel about my beard? Great. I've been trying on and off for a while, but I wasn't happy with the way it was growing and I always ended up shaving. Having a reddish/orange beard is tough because it looks like complete crap until it gets longer.
