When exiting the Army, there is an untold tradition to grow a beard. I grew a short, trimmed, full beard; and LOVED it. Since then it has become part of me.

How do I feel about my beard? While doing some beard research (or beardsearch), I discovered that there was a style of beard called the "Reed". Intrigued, since that is my last name, I decided to look it up. The only thing I could find was this:

Reed – A beard with integrated mustache that is worn on the lower part of the chin and jaw area that tapers towards the ears without connecting sideburns.

I could not find a single picture! While searching, I came across your website and decided that I would submit one (or three). I trimmed up the beard to what I thought fit the description and took a few pics with the cell phone. Although this is not a "created" style by me, I would like to think that I am re-establishing it. It would be awesome to see some others here post their own Reed Beards!
