Bearded since: 1996. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

I started with a goatee because I wasn't sure at eighteen years old what to do exactly, but I've always had an attraction for the look of beards. About five years later, I grew a beard, but have since always kept it trim and tight until about a week ago.
A little over a week ago, I was asked to grow a full on bushy beard for a photo shoot. I've never done it, wasn't sure what to do, but knew I could. So, I've begun the process.
How do I feel about my beard? Right now, my beard is in that hobo looking, itchy phase. So, I am looking forward to the final outcome. I'm submitting a picture of the beard I've had for about ten years prior to this past week. And as time progresses I'll submit a final shot of the finished product.
