Eshu Bearded since: 2011. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower. Comments: I decided to grow my beard because I am, in the end, a patriarch. I am a father, and the Abbot of a Zen Buddhist community. I also have a red beard, and the "Red Bearded Barbarian", Bodhidharma, is a patriarch of special prominence in the Zen School. So it is also sort of an homage. How do I feel about my beard? I am concerned that it is a little too awesome, and gets more so every day. ;) Keywords: full_beard
