As with many others, I grew a beard because I could. I thought it looked good. Also, being in the bar business for many years, a beard got the attention of the women (so they could yank on it to see if it was real) as well as intimidating someone you got to throw out! (Or maybe I just thought it worked.)

How do I feel about my beard? I love a beard. However, I'm in my early 40s and the grey has taken it over. I am ashamed to say that I have used products on my beard. The reason; I am single and looking for a younger child-bearing wife without prior children. Not many my age. Should I worry? I'd hate to shave!
