Well I just started to grow it out for religious reasons as I am a Sikh, I just never strictly followed my religion. So I said to heck with this business of shaving for employers. That is slavery and bigotry. Besides, mankind has beards naturally and your hair is alive and if it was not necessary for it to grow and be there, why do we have it? Is it for health reasons why we have facial hair? Some claim a beard is unsanitary. That is a total lie. It is a natural air filter and, besides, real men have beards. Imagine all the bad stuff our beards catch before we breathe it in? I am growing out all my hair, even on my head now and that is that! In Panjabi, hair is called kesh.

How do I feel about my beard? Well, I have always been a fan of Santa Claus. I like it a lot. I like to look like a big scary viking or mountain man. My wife likes it. I am part Russian and Russians used to judge a man on his beard.
