Originally I was growing my beard while a good friend was on tour in Iraq. He's since returned (safe and sound). But in the meantime I've had no want to shave it.

How do you feel about your beard? Just like anything "different", not everyone looks at it the same way. While I'll have some go out of their way to compliment me on it others will laugh and tell me how stupid it looks. ("Sorry you only have to use that Mach3 twice a week, chief." ). Personally, I love it! I consider it to be a great accomplishment.
