Why did I grow my beard? Wanted to try to shape my face a bit more as I had gained some weight. Had previously grown goatees before my hair on the sideburns got thick enough to grow a full beard.

How do I feel about my beard? It gets a lot of compliments and I have won a beard growing contest. So it's definitely a mainstay. Only time it's been shaved in the past twelve months was for the growth contest.

In the three photos, I show various states of length and shape over the years in college. I now sport a full shaped beard as shown in the first photo.
