Why did I grow my beard? I've always had some sort of facial hair. But I wanted to see how far I could take it. It started with my friends telling me to grow my beard. I told my friend I would grow a beard until he had his kid. He had his kid and I don't want to shave it off.

How do I feel about my beard? I know my beard is long but compared to other beards I've seen around town I feel sometimes I cannot compete. I shaved January 2013 and then started growing it back in February and I've been growing ever since. I like it and I will probably keep it for the winter.
