I grew my beard out as a form of celebration for football season. So I did it just after the school year to give it time to grow in. About halfway through summer, it grew in 100% and I have decided to keep it for long after season, forever perhaps.

How do I feel about my beard? I love it! The only thing I don't like is my chin hair coloring, so it looks like I have the meanest muttonchops around. My girl likes it, the guys on the team like it, and some of the coaches aren't able to grow it out like mine. I am happy i grew one like my brothers did.
