Why did I grow my beard? I retired after thirty-two total years in the military and law enforcement, in which it was against regulations to grow a beard. Now I have grown a beard because I can!

How do I feel about my beard? I think my beard looks and feels natural, manly, and I don't really care what other think about it. I feel more manly with my beard than just a mustache or naked face. Besides, at fifty-two, it's about time!
