Bearded since: 2008. I am an experimental beard grower.

I grew my beard to assert my individuality and because I think it looks cool. I also grew my beard to emulate one of my role models, Scott Ian from Anthrax.

How do I feel about my beard? It gets me noticed. I've tried growing a long beard before, but never got past the "in-between" phase where it's difficult to control. I'm now nine-months in and happy with its progress.
