I grew my beard because my friend kind of dared me to do it. He said he would pay me a £10. I was thinking of growing one for a while back then, so the dare was a good excuse and the easiest £10 I ever made.

I loved it growing it. I'm one of the few young men in the school who can grow a beard like this at the age of seventeen.

This picture was taken the day before I shaved it all off and started again on the 7th of December 2009.

How do I feel about my beard? I love having a beard. Right now I would say I'm being a bit experimental trying different styles, but at the time of writing this I want to bring it back to its former glory and beyond. I can see my self becoming a dedicated, permanent beard grower.
