I started to grow my beard because I had somehow acquired a razor rash on my neck and decided that I would try a beard. I have discovered that people tend to notice the beard quicker than the red rash on my neck. So it was a success in that way.

How do I feel about my beard? As I have gotten older, I find that the coloring has become more of a single color that is more white than when I was in my twenties. This makes me look quite distinguished. And above all, my wife quite likes it.
