It dates back to my childhood. Beards represented many positive qualities like wisdom, maturity, and security to me. I decided that I would have one when I grow up.

How do I feel about my beard? I still have time to time nightmares where I have shaved off my beard. When I wake up, I become calm when I see that it is not true.
