Why did I grow my beard? After shaving every day for for years in the Army, my face needed a break. So I started to only shave about once a month. Once I got used to the scratchiness of it, I decided to keep it for good. With my current growth, I haven't trimmed the bulk of it. I do prefer a clean neck line and, for the sake of my wife kissing me, I do keep my mustache cleaned up.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard. It's part of me now. I love getting compliments on it and have been told that a few people I see on a regular basis have beard envy on me.
