I started out as an experimental beard grower in college during the '70s, as I'm sure many of us have, with an artsy Van Dyke (I was an "actor", don't ya know!!). The fad came and went. I then graduated to seasonal grower when I found that having a beard in the winter saved my face from the terminal "chapped face" of my dry skin... I finally graduated to permanent beard owner during the mid-80's.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it; it saves time getting ready in the AM, saves on the amount of moisturizer after washing my face, and makes me look like a college professor! (I'm not, LOL!)
