I originally started growing my beard to fight cancer during No Shave November.

How do I feel about my beard? I have had a goatee for years, but never a full grown, wild and massive man beard. Before long, people said that I looked good with one and that I shouldn't shave it off when November was up. So I didn't. Now that the semester is coming to a close, I am getting the urge to shave to start the year fresh with a new beard, or at least a trim. But I really do like my beard and don't know why I never grew one before.
