While I rarely consider myself a conformist, I moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn and was struck by the number of hipsters sporting fashionable beards. I had never considered giving it a shot, but then figured why the heck not. I haven't looked back since.

How do I feel about my beard? The beard in the picture took about two months to grow. That's the longest I've ever had it. I now enjoy maintaining a short but full beard. I believe sharing my longest growth is the most valuable contribution to make.
