When I was young I always admired my grandfather's beard, although he would never let it grow more than a week. I also admired my father's beard, but he only grew it out one time, and I never understood why he wouldn't do it again.

Also, in the words of the Greeks, "There are two kinds of people in this world that go around beardless -- boys and women -- and I am neither one."

How do I feel about my beard? My beard is my pride. I can't say exactly why, but a man's beard is what defines him, along with his actions. My beard adds a whole new level of beauty to my face, a level which I could never have without my beard.
