Bearded since: about 1985. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

Comments:
I always wanted a beard as a teenager, but I had a very fuzzy baby face. When I went to college, I grew my first beard, which was full, but fuzzy and blond, except underneath. As I grew older, my beard did grow in reddish-brown, but still light and soft. I've had a beard most of my adult life, except for job interviewing times and other whims.

I love wearing it and stroking it. My lips are quite thin and my chin prominent, so the beard evens out my appearance.
