I grew my beard because I work in an automotive service department with no heat. If you are familiar with Wisconsin winters, they are COLD. So I grow a beard in winter to keep my face warm, and it works!

How do I feel about my beard? The first couple of times that I tried to grow a beard, it came out thin. That was mostly because I was impatient and would try to shape it within the first week. This time however, I did not touch it for about four weeks and it turned out great. I've taken quite the liking to it and now I'm considering keeping it year round.
