Bearded since: 1992 (on and off). I am an occasional or seasonal beard grower.

I just go with how I feel on a monthly basis. Sometimes I won't shave for a couple of days and think, "sod it," I'll grow some kind of beard for a while... On the flip side, I stay clean shaven for a few weeks at a time also...

I originally grew a beard (full face) to emulate my late father who had a fantastic "Grizzly Adams" style beard back in the '70s.

How do I feel about my beard? Would prefer my facial hair to be darker, like my head hair...instead I get brown/ginger/blonde/black all through it in various places. Not too happy that my beard lacks thickness around my bottom lip area.
