I grew my beard because, after breaking up with a girl that made me shave, I decided to try it. I was only sixteen, so I wasn't sure how it would come in, but I've had a beard since.

How do I feel about my beard? I feel like my beard gets a lot of feedback because of my age. Looking older gets me a lot of respect from people that might otherwise think I'm just another of those obnoxious teenagers. People try to tell me to shave it so I look younger, but I would feel naked without it.
