I grew my beard because it is part of my self-image. Nobody in my family had a beard, so it was a bit of a stretch for me to grow one. It's a quiet but bold form of self-expression.

How do I feel about my beard? I am proud of my beard. It's always a work in progress. In the past I used to trim it myself, but lately I have had it trimmed professionally and really LIKE the results. I love to use scented oils in my mustache and beard. This isn't very expensive, and it lifts my spirits throughout the day.
