I usually try growing my beard out about once a year to see how it is changing over the years. This year with the support of this site, I was able to endure the itching and ridicule from friends long enough to really get a good idea what it's capable of.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it. It has brought out an entire new persona in me. It's enabled me to look at myself differently and know that I am a capable, confident and unique individual.
