I grew my beard in high school for fun and liked it.

How do I feel about my beard? I like it. I think it's a little unique and distinguished. My wife hates it, but she has not left yet, and it's been thirty-five years. So I guess it doesn't matter. I keep it trimmed a lot neater than I did in the '70s, however. I only shaved it off twice over thirty-five years, for brief periods when I was job hunting. Being clean-shaven did not seem to make a difference!
