I decided to grow a beard because I always thought if a man can grow a beard, he should. For one thing, God gave us hair on our faces and for some reason most men shave it off. The heck with most men, I'm growin' what God gave me.

How do I feel about my beard? So far I really like it. I am only two and a half weeks into my beard growth and it already is lookin' pretty decent. My mustache leaves a bit to be desired, but with time I think it too will come along. Being a Baptist preacher, I do get a little discouragement from the older folks in my church, but I have enough bearded bikers to keep my spirits up.
