Why did I grow my beard? I began growing my beard in 2009 in the fall in preparation for the cold Canadian winters. After it started to garner so much positive attention I decided to put it to a good use and began growing my beard annually in support of my local "Big Brothers Big Sisters" chapter to help make a positive impact on the lives of many a child in this area.

How do I feel about my beard? I really love my beard and the positive reactions I get from having it. I also love using it to make a positive impact in the world.
