Bearded since: 1990. I am a dedicated, permanent beard grower.

Comments:
I grew my beard because I've always preferred facial hair over shaven. It just looks better, feels better, and I can't think properly without my beard to tug on when contemplating something.

While I'd rather it start out thicker and wish the hair would grow all the way up to my lip, I feel a strong sense of pride for my beard.
