Why did I grow my beard? I had a really bad stroke several years ago. It was in rehabilitation when I decided to grow my beard. I guess one of the by-products of the stroke was that my hair all turned white/silver gray. Everyone from then on started to call me Santa Claus. I did not have any ambition to go back to my original employment and I needed to work. So I began doing research on being a professional Santa Claus. I am semi-retired and have been working as a professional Santa for three years nows. I have a wife of forty years, two children, and two grandchildren.

How do I feel about my beard? I love my beard. I heard my wife comment one time, "I knew I was in trouble when I looked in my husband's shower and saw more hair care products than in mine". I take good care of my beard. It is like growing a good garden. If you tend to it, it will always look good. I have a lot of fun with it.
