Why did I grow my beard? I've known since I was very young that I wanted to be a rugged and bearded man.

How do I feel about my beard? I've trimmed it up and been keeping the friendly mutton chops for two years now. Some like 'em long and scruffy, but it takes a strong chin to keep the chops.
