Why did I grow my beard? I've always wanted to grow one since I had facial hair. But until my thirties, I've always had the coverage, just not the fullness that I needed to pull it off. So, at thirty-four, I decided it was time!

How do I feel about my beard? It's a great sensation to have length to your beard. I really enjoy having it and I'm thankful I'm able to grow a decent one. I do find that for me, the longer my beard gets the more time I seem to spend styling it and shaping it to look professional for work. Beards seem to elicit strong opinions. It's interesting how people react when they see it. Some people are very critical and tell me I need to shave....while others really can't compliment it enough. LOL. I would say most people are pro-beard.
