Why did I grow my beard? I come from a long line of men who couldn't grow proper beards because of bald patches on their faces. I believe this was due to my Native American ancestry on my father's side. My father could only grow a mustache. I've had a goatee for years and decided to see what kind of beard I can grow. So far, so good!

How do I feel about my beard? I feel that my beard gives me a more manly look, even though it does seem to make me look closer to my actual age. At the time that I am posting these pics, my beard is only five-weeks old, but I don't plan to shave it off now that I can see that it is growing in nicely.
