Why did I grow my beard? Why not? Seriously though, beards are about as manly as you can get. Beards attract better mates. Beards show dedication and persistence. Beards are a way of life.

How do I feel about my beard? I am pretty impressed with my beard. For less than a year's worth of growing my first full fledged beard, I have a an average length of 3.5 inches to a personal record of 5.25 inch strands. I know I have some hefty competition in the beard world. But I am still young and still have plenty of time to grow a nice two footer (which is my current goal).
