Why did I grow my beard? For a challenge and social experiment.

How do I feel about my beard? It has grown on me. Lots of negative reactions. I've been called "homeless", "ZZ Top", "Moses", "Duck Dynasty", "mountain man", and asked at least one hundred times, "Why are you growing a beard?". I answer "I'm not growing a beard. I'm just not shaving." I even got into a blown-up altercation with my in-laws and my beard was mentioned as a reason they don't like me. On the positive side, even the girls who say they don't like it seem to be subconsciously attracted to it. I seem to get more respect and less "lip" from guys.
