Why did I grow my beard? I wanted a beard as I had just left a job that wouldn't allow them. I just always wanted one.

How do I feel about my beard? I love having a beard. I have given it quite a trim as it was getting a bit scruffy in all the wrong places. I will grow it out again though. I want a full beard. My wife was complaining it looked untidy and I'm new to the trimmer so I went too short.
